Alpine Bee
September is Honey Month, and to celebrate it, we created this very well-balanced and comforting drink with our Swiss Premium Vodka and some delicious honey syrup.
Make sure to stick to the 3 to 1 ration for the honey syrup and only lightly muddle the mint leaves. If you muddle them too hard, all you do is turn them into a bitter grassy paste that will make your drink taste a lot worse.

Equipment
Ingredients
- 50 ml The Alpinist Swiss Premium Vodka
Add to Bag
- 25 ml Honey Syrup 3:1
- 20 ml Lime Juice
- 1 Brown Sugar Cube
- 4 Mint leaves
- 4 Dashes Angostura Bitters (coat the top)
- Crushed ice
- To garnish: mint sprig
Preparation
Add 6 mint leaves, honey syrup, lime juice, and one brown sugar cube in your shaker. Take your muddler and lightly press the sugar cube, and the mint leaves a few times. Add the vodka and a little bit of crushed ice to your shaker and shake it for about 5 seconds. Dump the mixture in your glass and top it off with crushed ice. Last but not least, add 4 dashes of angostura bitters and garnish with a mint sprig. Pro tip: slap the mint spring on your hands a few times to release the aromatic oils.
Recipe for Honey Syrup
- 150 ml Honey
- 50 ml Warm Water
Combine honey and hot water in a medium bowl. Stir with a spatula to dissolve honey completely. Transfer to glass bottle and reserve in refrigerator.
